Have five that work perfectly. One that didn't. Hope they last!!!! Well constructed.

I admit it... I'm a cord abuser... On several occasions, I have dropped my plugged in phone from my loft bed (the pile of clothes on the floor saves my phone). The cord gets yanked occasionally by that. Sometimes, while in a hurry, I unplug my phone by the cord. These habits broke my apple cord in under four months and a generic cord in less than two. This cord is just now starting to break after five months! I am very satisfied with how long it has lasted. Because the recent reviews have shown a lower quality than the one I have experienced, I am going to try a new cord, but if that one breaks, I will definitely be purchasing another one of these. Attached is a photo of what my cord abuse has caused. For now, a little duck tape will fix it.

It's a nice little cord, and I like the cheap price, but it lasts about the same as a regular apple cord. Spent 95% of the time plugged into the computer not moving. Other 5% it was handled nicely to go on car trips or vacation (I know how to take care of cords okay). And it's about 5 months and a little change later and it's just now breaking - as in I'll plug my ipod in but dear god do not move it or it'll disconnect and I have to unplug and replug it in. I'm afraid to take that charger anywhere now.

I've been using it for about a month and it works well so far. It's a bit slower to charge than the Apple cord but it's does fine
