Really nice quality tool. Does everything I expected. The pliers come with a coiled lanyard with a small carabiner clip on the loose end for attaching to a pant loop. The lanyard is attached to the tool with a key ring type of connector. I replaced the key ring connector with another caribiner of equal size so I could remove the lanyard and work with the tool at my tackle table and not deal with the lanyard. Works great. Highly recommend.
