After watching a couple of videos on YouTube the computer was very easy to install. There are 2 batteries, one in the speedometer/odometer and the other in the sensor that attaches to the bike frame at the wheel. Open each compartment and remove the small circular paper or there will be no battery connection to either device. Take time, don't tighten the zip ties until you know for sure the bike computer is working. Total time for installation under 5 minutes and I was up and running. Can't beat the price, works great!

I like this cycling computer. The display screen is easy to read, it's wireless (previous ones I had weren't), and this is the first time I've seen a mini solar panel on one; that definitely saves battery power. What really sold me is the option to keep the display screen back light on for night rides (by pressing both buttons at the same time). Read from a previous reviewer that keeping the display screen lit wasn't possible, but it is. Also like that the back light is LED; that also saves battery power (screen illumination good). Another thing: it doesn't take up handlebar space like my smartphone (with a speedometer app) did. Broke two phones due to an inferior bike phone mount; that's why I went back to a cycling computer. Good product, reasonably priced; probably will purchase a second one for my other bike when I get it repaired.

I only took 1 star off of the installation due to the fact that the instruction booklet is so darn small that I had to take a photo of the page with my phone so I could blow it up big enough to read them. Another important thing is to keep in mind is that you should check that the magnet on the wheel is tight after your first ride and then every now and then after. I do see a small difference in total mileage between this speedometer and the underarmor fitness app on my phone, But it's small enough that it doesn't bother me.

I followed the video instructions and the enclosed paper instructions and within 10 minutes it was mounted and fully functional. I need to adjust the wheel circumference value because it is yielding data rates slightly higher than my GPS tracking through my FIT-BIT app. I physically measured the circumference wheel traversal distance by rolling the bike until the tire valve completed one full revolution on the floor. The display can be fixed or set to scroll through them all while you are riding. The screen was clear and highly visible. The wireless spoke transmitter seems to work like a charm with no data drop-outs or false data being shown at any time during my inaugural 55 minute bike ride. I am fully satisfied and quite impressed by this and it was very reasonably priced. Thanks for a wonderful product.

My only issue is that some of the directions did not translate correctly into English. The company should rectify that because grammar and spelling do count. If not correct, then the perceived quality is affected. No hard to install if you watch the video and realize that there are paper insulators in both battery compartments. If you have overlooked this, then clearly you do not know that paper is NOT a conductor. I like the concept of zip ties because replacement is easy. Measure the circumference the wheel with a single circle roll to determine inches. Multiply X inches times 25.24. By the way, 2.54 cm = one inch, so if you move the decimal point one place the unit is mm. Get it? Enter the product to ensure accuracy instead of using a chart. Even better, have a helper and put your weight on the seat. In any case, the set up is easy and make certain that there is sufficient space between the stationary sensor and the moving metallic piece. Works for me . . . we'll see about longevity.
