I love the idea of this extension bar. I was figuring out for putting few stuff on my handle bar, and plus handle bar bag. There was no room for all stuff. Then I found such a extension bar. All my problems was gone. The size for my gravel bike, it fit perfectly. And it’s light with carbon material. Only one thing I noticed was the surface of extension bar is somewhat very smooth with plastic coating. So it might need some different surface for strong grip, rather than polished smooth surface. Otherwise it is very nice idea product for extension handle bar.

This extender does what the description says. I Have not used these on bicycle handle bars. I use them for attaching handles and holders for monitors, audio devices, and other things on video gimbals and rigs. They fit a variety of diameters, are very sturdy, and many of the things I need to add fit these tubes. Plus, they look good.

I liked that it was lightweight. Much better than a much cheaper version that I first bought that came with plastic end caps misaligned (from heat during shipment) and not sealed with cheap plastic Brackets-returned. Not sure if this more expensive version’s tube is completely carbon fiber or just plastic with vinyl wrapped with CF pattern since plastic end caps are sealed. Brackets are CNC aluminum -rickety looking at first but support lightweight once tightened. I put on my older speedometer that no longer fit large h.bars. Used some tennis racket protection tape around my new 31.5mm bars before putting on the brackets to help protect and keep from having to over tighten the brackets. Very easy to install but didn’t come with an Allan wrench to turn the bolts so had to use my own.

This is a nice quality item. By installing the extender, l was able to clean up my bike’s cockpit area nicely. Plenty long enough, although l am thinking about cutting some of the bar off. Clamps put the bar out and away from the handlebar about the right distance. Easy install. The carbon bar is a bit slippery, but manageable. I don’t want to crank too hard and crush it. All in all, a good investment.

This purchase was a necessity because the LED light I was using was emitting EMS causing my wireless cyclometer to give inaccurate readings. Moving the light to the handlebar extender solved this problem. Also if you're contemplating a bell for your bike, many of the bells will not attach to modern handlebars but they will to this extender. Installation is easy and they stay firmly in place.
