Automatic Spring Fishing Rod Holder Folding Fishing Pole Mount Bracket Ground Stand

Finally got to see this rod holder in action and I gotta admit it was pretty cool. It’s strurdy, well made, easy to use and it even holds 4’8 ultra light rods. The trigger system works well and it sets the hook nicely for you. So far I’ve used it for a split shot rig set up while trout fishing and even with lots of line slack the system doesn’t fail and still sets the hook for you.

Have only used the rod holder a few times but from my experience it works as described. It is very sensitive and trips easily so the slightest bite will set it off. I do think it is very strong for smaller fish that could tear the hook out of the fishes mouth. One thing it could use is a design that would attach it to a boat like a c-clamp attachment built into the holder but all in all I am pleased with my purchase.

Very sturdy and made of quality stainless steel. The design is fantastic but I did wish the bolt that adjusts the pole angle was alittle longer. No biggie, easily swap out for a longer bolt. Highly recommend for people who like to fish catfish, sturgeon and pike

I really wanted this self-setting rod holder to work, however despite many trials, it simply didn’t meet my needs. The trigger mechanism would easily trigger at the slightest line pressure and sets off the spring. It never worked as it was as intended for my needs.

Wanted to stop having to look for a quality stick or item to lean my rod on. This is extremely easy to install at basically any spot
