This is not ultra light, but it is comfortable. The first time you assemble it, it's challenging. Once broken in its much easier.

ALERT: Not for large people or people with wide hips or a big butt. We do a lot of activities outdoors and usually have various types of chairs for everyone to sit on but a lot of those chairs are really inconvenient to tote around, especially to locations where we have a bit of a walk to get to. Even just trying to load them into the car with everything else plus people can be hard at times if we have a large load. I really liked how small and compact this chair folded up to. This TOMSHOO Folding Chair Ultralight Portable Foldable Lightweight Outdoor Picnic Fishing Camping Backpacking Chairs with Carry Bag comes already folded up in it's bag. There is a tag on the handle of the bag. There are no directions provided. The bag that it comes in is made up of the same material that the chair is made out of. The majority is solid material and the rest is a mesh material. The zipper has 3 sides allowing it to open up a lot to get the chair in and out of it easily. There are woven nylon handles on both ends of the bag. Inside of the bag is the chair material and the frame. The frame is folded up completely. Inside of the metal poles of the frame are elastic ropes that help keep the posts together and make it easy putting the frame together. Also, no parts can get lost. Once the frame is put together it's time to put the chair piece on. If you want to, you can use the handles and slide them over one of the bag posts to keep it from getting lost. The chair has no arm rests. On the sides there is a little bit of cushioning between the material. There is a little bit of a pillow at the top. There is mesh netting on the sides of the seat area and on the back. I will be honest, I had a very hard time getting it together. I had to get my step dad to help me and I thought that he was going to break it. I am not sure if I was doing it in the wrong order or what because there were no directions provided. Sitting in it isn't all that comfortable. It is tolerable and works if need be but I couldn't imagine sitting in it for long periods of time but then again I am bigger. This would likely be a lot more comfortable for kids and smaller adults. It says that it can hold up to 350lbs. I don't know anyone that large to try it but I do know some large people and there's no way they could sit in it to even test it out. It may be able to withstand 350lbs but no 350lb person is going to be able to sit in it. Still, it's not a bad chair and it serves it's purpose. I can leave it in my car and it wont get in the way. I'm going to carry it around for my work because there are times where I have to wait and it would be nice to not have to sit in my car or stand around inside the warehouse. If I choose to leave it at the warehouse, it wont take up a lot of room or if I leave it in my work van it wont prevent me from being able to load it up all the way. I just need to figure out how to put it together! I do like that it's easy to clean and I can toss it in the washer if I need to. That's a huge plus, especially knowing how much it will get used outdoors. I definitely would choose this chair over our other ones if I know that it might get dirty because I cannot easily clean the other ones.

i like it. i need it. perhaps i will buy it again
