Bought this to replace the zipline trolley on a kid's backyard zipline. The original trolley sounded just like that, a trolley. It was loud enough to make us parents go inside. This item works perfectly. It's very quiet, even on steel cable and provides a faster ride across the back yard. It's a bit pricey, but I think it was the least expensive of the pulleys available.
