Price is great comparable to what you find in sporting good stores. Using for a paraplegic (needing extra padding on his tailbone and buttocks when sitting) who also scoots along the floor using yoga blocks with his arms, including going upstairs backwards on his butt. We started with the XXL size as he was using over other clothing but have sized down to L-XL since as he has lost weight. The garment has been remarkably durable given the abuse it has been given. Needed to add stitching to the top of the sacral pad to tie it down better as it had a tendency to catch on the lip of the stairs when he was going up backwards. Has worked well at home and scooting along the pool deck at the YMCA moving from pool to hot tub and has appeared to hold up well to chlorine exposure but also rinsing out well with water after. Air dries quickly.

Perfect for an adult leaning to roller skate and wants added protection for possible falls. I'm 5 foot 4 inches around 200 pds and I ordered a XXL. Fits great with extra wiggle room. Very comfortable and work great for the awesome price. These have saved my hips and butt from a handful of falls since learning to skate.

I bought this hip pad for my ski trip. For the past couple days experience, it’s a mixed feeling. I will start with pros: 1. It is definitely light weight. 2. Provides some sort of protection on center part of the hip and lower back. 3. The material is breathable when I put it over my base layer. However, there are some cons from the past few days I really need to point out for buyers that are interested in this product. 1. Little or zero protection on the hip bones. Therefore, under high speed, you will definitely feel the impact. 2. Thicker foam is needed if you are a pro skier or snowboarder who looks for speed. The thin pad works ok under low speed, but doesn’t work under high speed. Overall, I would definitely recommend for ski, snowboard, mountain biking, skateboard beginners that are in low speed.

The overall quality is ok, and the padding itself is not bad. Unfortunately, it lacks padding on the hip bone at the side, and the inside of the legs has stitching that is itchy. I would not recommend it for skating.

I've used other similar products in the past, but they were too bulk or stiff. This model is quite flexible and comfortable.
