The rod feels really good, has a nice flex to it as well. The reel feels good and the bearings are smooth. There is no play in the spool and the clutch seems to operate properly. Highly recommend this combo if your looking for a nice fly rod combo without wanting to spend too much money. Also good for a backup rod and reel. The flies that come with it are ok and works well. The case fits everything from the kit nicely and looks like it will hold up well. That’s it! Heading out to go fishing now!
