I have worn (or opted not to wear) many different types and styles of life jackets in various watercraft for 60+ years. Some I have kept close without wearing, because they are simply uncomfortable, interfere with paddling or casting, and/or are just plain annoying to wear. I have owned countless sailboats, motorboats, canoes and kayaks. This life jacket is the first one (other than inflatables) that I have ever forgot I had on - and that is in my kayak, while fishing off the coasts of Hawaii, for hours. Great setup for PLB, VHF, phone, multi-tool and accessories. Lots of well thought out pockets, elastic storage straps, clip on locations. The best life jacket I have ever worn. No cons.

I needed new life vests for kayaking and ended up buying both my wife and myself kayak fishing life jackets. I took them out today for the first time and the fit is amazingly comfortable, lightweight, and quite buoyant. I'm 5'10" tall and weigh 230lbs and I went with the standard size - it fits perfect with plenty of room left to adjust bigger. I have a large chest so I wasn't sure if this would feel too tight, but it is right on the money. After nearly 2 hours of saltwater kayaking, I didn't even feel like I was wearing a life vest. The pockets/pouches are great, too. I can't wait to get out there on the lake and do some fishing with this thing. Very happy I made this purchase and would buy again.

The vest is very comfortable for all day on the water. I love the pocket options. My cell phone fits perfect in the pocket with a velcro flap so it's easy to access one handed. The high back design is great for sitting in a kayak/boat chair. I'm a bigger guy and can operate in it all day. When looking for a PFD I was looking for options while dry because I never want to use it in the water, just on the water, so I cannot attest to its floatability. I will update my review if I ever get wet wearing it.

I'm 6'2 200 pounds and this fits me very well with plenty of room for adjustment. I use this with my kayak for fishing nearly weekly and its held up fine for the 6 months I've had it. Plenty of cool little pockets that fisherman or casual kayakers/boaters might enjoy. Even gotten a few compliments for curious passerbyers! Only knock on it is the zipper feels slightly flimsy, but it's given me no issues so far. Worth the buy!

I love all the pockets and compartments on this. I have so much stuff clipped to my jacket to have easy at hand while fishing. The pocket that flips down is a bit awkward for me but I like the idea, I just keep a small tool kit type thing for extra fishing lures in the band provided in that pocket.
