This is one sweet little tester. Not only does it test discreet components (transistors, diodes, capacitors, resistors, etc), it also has a square wave signal generator and a frequency meter. It is a great addition to the workbench of the electronics hobbyist.

... is very well served with this ingenious measuring device! As an old electronics engineer and hobbyist, I am very enthusiastic. You can use it to measure the following components: resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, coils, LEDs and probably a few things that I have not yet tried. The component values are displayed very graphically. For example, Displayed what transistor it is (NPN or PNP) and what penetration voltages it has. In the same way, the penetration voltage is displayed especially for diodes, which makes the calculation of the appropriate series resistor very precise. All in all, a really successful product.
